"Mad Unicorn" from Netflix, one of this year's most popular series, continues its run of success with three recent nominations at the International Streaming Festival in South Korea. The awards ceremony is being held from 22-25 August. The " Half-Half Thailand Travel 2025" project is a domestic economic stimulus measure organised by the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT). The government is supporting accommodation costs for the public by up to 3,000 baht per night, along with providing a 500-baht digital coupon per night to be used at participating restaurants, OTOP shops, and tourism services. The offer is limited to 500,000 privileges nationwide. Registration opens via the Amazing Thailand website and app from 1 July 2025 onwards, and the privileges can be used from 4 July to 31 October 2025. Participants must be Thai nationals aged 18 or over and must register and verify their identity through the ThaID app before use. The government will subsidise 40-50% of costs in primary cities and 50% in secondary cities to promote tourism and distribute income to entrepreneurs across the country

The long-awaited film "Jurassic World Rebirth," the latest instalment in the Jurassic Park/Jurassic World franchise, has created a new phenomenon with more than half of the movie being filmed in Thailand, particularly in Trang, Phang Nga, and Krabi provinces. Just one week after its release, it surpassed 100 million baht in box office sales, sparking a trend of tourism following the film's scenic backdrops. Five key locations in Krabi have become particularly popular: Railay Beach, a world-class rock-climbing spot surrounded by limestone mountains with fine white sand, accessible only by boat; Phra Nang Cave Beach in Hat Noppharat Thara National Park, which was used as the set for a mysterious island and a dinosaur laboratory; Huay Toh Waterfall in Khao Phanom Bencha National Park, an 11-tiered waterfall with cool water flowing all year round; Klong Rood, or Klong Nam Sai, where the water is so clear you can see the bottom, perfect for kayaking and enjoying nature; and Khao Khanab Nam, the symbol of Krabi town, featuring the Black Crab Monument and Lan Pu Dam as popular check-in spots. This is a significant temple in Bangkok, famous for its "Loha Prasat" or Metal Castle. The seven-storey building features 37 spires, representing the 37 virtues toward enlightenment. It was founded in 1846 by King Rama III in honour of his royal granddaughter. The temple compound includes an ordination hall built in the early Rattanakosin Thai architectural style, adorned with beautiful murals, and housing a bronze Buddha image in the subduing Mara posture. It is also an important centre of art and history, ideal for visitors wishing to pay respect, make merit, and admire cultural and artistic beauty up close. Located along the Khlong Lat Mayom canal on Bang Ramat Road, Taling Chan, Bangkok, this market was founded in 2004 by the local canal-side community to create a trading space and preserve their traditional way of life. Originally a small waterside market, it has grown to cover an area of over 30 rai, divided into several zones. It features over 600 stalls selling fresh, local Thai food such as pork satay, boat noodles, and grilled fish, as well as traditional Thai desserts and organic agricultural products. Additionally, there are activities such as boat tours to observe the local lifestyle and nature along the canal, a miniature boat museum, and a sufficiency economy agricultural garden, all creating a simple and friendly atmosphere. It is a popular destination for cultural and community-based tourism in Bangkok, open on Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
This charming and warm old Mon community is situated in the Bang Ban district, amidst lush, well-preserved nature. Visitors can experience the traditional way of life and learn about the valuable wisdom of the Mon people through numerous conservation-focused activities, such as Mon-style sash embroidery, traditional Mon brick-making, and local cooking classes.
