    Wat Mahathat – one of the oldest temples in Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Historical Park – is a great destination for MICE travellers to visit this morning. The temple complex comprises of holy relics from the Lord Buddha, large and small pillars (prangs), and an octagonal chedi. A highlight of the temple is the small viharn where parts of tree have grown around a statue of the Buddha’s head, creating a strange sense of beauty that captivates many visitors.
