  • 08:00 MUST SEE : Phimai Historical Park   MUST SEE : Phimai Historical Park

    Take MICE travellers to visit the beautiful ancient city of Phimai also known as Phimai Historical Park, one of the most important Mahayana Buddhist temple in Thailand, dating back 1,000 years and is one of the largest Khmer temples of Thailand locates in the town of Phimai, Nakhon Ratchasima province. The temple was built in the Baphuon, Bayon and Angkor Wat style and was built as a Buddhist temple, since the inhabitants of the Korat area had been Buddhists as far back as the 7th century.

    Arrive at Kut Chik Community, the origin of traditional Pad Mee Korat or Korat Noodles for over 100 years. MICE travellers will get a chance to learn the basic of Korat Noodles making from rice flour making, steaming, drying the noodles to knife-cutting techniques all done by hands and its highlight feature that makes Korat Noodles different from other rice noodles which is the main ingredient : 100% pure rice resulting in the chewy texture and naturally sweet taste. MICE travellers can also participate in Korat Noodles making workshop and enjoy them for lunch along with other local delicacies such as Korat style som tam and Korat style roasted chicken.

    Participate in Korat Clay and Craft Creation 2024 from 21 – 22 February, one of Nakhon Ratchasima flagship event for clay and craft lovers. The event serves as the platform to showcase the potential of local artists in producing Thai soil work that can compete in international level and more than just home use items. Visitors can exchange ideas and knowledge with exhibitors and local producers as well as participating in soil work workshops or enjoy the clay and craft gallery.

    Enjoy the gastronomy journey of I san and Korat style cuisine at the local restaurant. Get to taste the authentic Korat style menu such as Korat style som tam, Pad Mee Korat, local desserts such as Pak Tong Chai style boiled sticky rice wrapped in pandan leaves and enjoy shopping for souvenirs such as Korat’s cat printed pants, one of Thai Soft Power’s influenced trendy fashion item.
