  • 09:00 MUST SEE : Former Governor’s Resident Museum of Nakhon Phanom Province   MUST SEE : Former Governor’s Resident Museum of Nakhon Phanom Province

    This 2-storey brick masonry building of the Former Governor’s Resident Museum of Nakhon Phanom is built and decorated with the influence of the western art style. The wood used in the construction is ironwood from the leftover of the building of the old City Hall and not a single nail was used in the construction of this building just a Thai local wisdom of “wood joint” technique that keeps all wood pieces connect together. Inside the museum exhibits the history of Nakhon Phanom province through old photo galleries and artifacts.

    After lunch, MICE travellers will get to put their physical strength to the test on the nature trail trekking at Phu Langka National Park on the distance of 1.8 kilometres to the famous Phu Langka Cave also known as The Nakee Cave which consisted of a giant rock whose surface has been eroded into what looks like serpent’s scales, just like the Naga Cave.

    Fill up the energy after a trekking trip with the famous menus from Nakhon Phanom such as fermented rice noodles served with fermented fish or “Pla ra”, Streamed rice noodles filled with different fillings, Pho and the healthy desserts menu “Khao Soay” made from steamed sticky rice with different grains and nuts then topped with sugar and sesame.
