    Embark on the historical journey to Phanom Rung Historical Park also known as Prasat Hin Phanom Rung, the grand and majestic Khmer site aged over a thousand years old. Built on top of an extinct volcano at 350 metres above sea level. It is originally a Hindu religious site and later became a Buddhist one. The word “Phanom Rung” or “Vnam Rung” in the Khmer language means “a huge mountain.” This phrase appears in the Khmer inscription found at Prasat Hin Phanom Rung, also indicating the name of the castle’s builder, “Narendrathit,” a descendant of the Mahidharpur dynasty, who was a relative of King Suryavarman II, the builder of Angkor Wat.

    Ban Charoen Suk Community located in Chaloem Phra Kiat district is an important inactive volcanic area called Khao Martian mountain which resulted in unique natural characteristic features such as the mineral-rich volcanic soil that the villagers use together with Padauk tree barks to colour dye the fabric which later becomes well known as Phu Akkani fabric. Phu Akkani fabric has soft texture and unique Earth tone color - a light brown color with a reddish-brown form of volcanic soil. MICE travellers can also join in the fabric dyeing workshop or buy Phu Akkani silk-cotton woven clothes as the souvenirs.

    Visit Buriram’s famous Sports Venue Chang Areana that can accommodate up to 32,600 viewers and the stadium is the first sole-use football stadium in Thailand that meets FIFA and AFC standards. The Chang International Circuit has been certified by the FIA as a venue for Formula 1 or Formula 1 car racing. It is also certified by FIM to host the MOTO GP World Championship, which is the highest level of both federations and can accommodate up to 50,000 viewers
