Khon Kaen Province is the first “MICE city” of northeastern Thailand. It is the land of culture and local wisdom and the capital of education in the region. Udon Thani Province is located in the upper northeastern region and has an ancient civilization and the famous archaeological site of Ban Chiang, the UNESCO World Heritage Site. It is the trade and investment center of upper northeastern Thailand. Further, it is the gateway to the Greater Mekong Subregion with four key potential domains: agriculture, arts and cultures, tourism, and trade and investment.

Nakhon Ratchasima

Nakhon Ratchasima

  • Vision: Being the World Heritage MICE City, the economic and tourism hub of the northeastern region.
  • Travel: By train, by public bus from Mo Chit Bus Terminal or by private car.

Nakhon Ratchasima Province is the economic center that connects the businesses to the northeastern region. It is very outstanding in the agriculture and industry sector due to the abundance of resources and natural and historical tourist sites. Dong Phayayen–Khao Yai Forest Complex is registered as the world heritage. Besides, there are many MICE venues in Nakhon Ratchasima that are equipped with modern facilities. The double-track railway project is also under development.
