Judging Criteria

Creativity

Applicants must identify the creative and unique ways in which the event was implemented and should state why they should win a TCEA award. Priority will be given to originality and innovation or "out of the box" thinking towards the whole program, including creative approaches, unique launch/communication program, or fresh event ideas/activities.


Application of Local Content

Entries must indicate a varying amount of local content. This can include support from local companies, application of local resources or involvement of the local community. Our aim is to highlight Thailand’s ability to infuse events with its unique selling points.


Cost Efficiency and Budget Maximization

Entries will be evaluated on how the budget/resources were maximized to provide an exceptional event experience. Submissions must provide a breakdown of budget, detailing expenses to include: invitations, rentals, transfers, staging, tenting, lighting, sound, multimedia, decor, centerpieces, linen, chair covers, printed materials for the event, give-away items, food and beverage, entertainment, music, dancers, lasers, fireworks, special effects, headliners, etc.


Cultural and Sustainability Practices

Entries must exhibit activities that encourage cultural and social responsibility practices. Entrants are asked to detail specific examples of how their program or event increased the awareness and knowledge of environmental and social responsibility.
