TCEB FINANCIAL SUBSIDY SCHEME
In addition to the non-financial support, TCEB also provides financial subsidies to both new and existing exhibitions. Details of the scheme is listed below:
New Shows
Qualifying Criteria for a New Show Financial Subsidy
1) A show that is recognized as an ‘International Exhibition’ according to Ufi’s standards, complying
with any of the 3 criteria listed below:
a. no. of international exhibitors representing at least 10% of total no. of exhibitors
b. no. of international visitors represent at least 5% of total no. of visitors
2) A show with at least a net space of 1,000 m2.
3) Shows held for the first in Thailand
A new show is qualified for a subsidy if it meet all of the criteria above.
Mega Show
*** Venue Subsidy for a New Mega Show ***
A mega show with more than 5,000 international visitors will be entitled to a 50% venue subsidy on top of the regular financial subsidy.”

Note:
· 50% of venue subsidy will be calculated based on gross space rented and on actual show day(s)
(excluding day of setting up & teardown, etc.)
· The venue subsidy will be paid directly to the venue
Qualifying Criteria for an Existing Show Financial Subsidy
1) A show that is recognized as an ‘International Exhibition’ according to Ufi’s standards, complying
with either of the 3 criteria listed below:
a. no. of international exhibitors representing at least 10% of total no. of exhibitors
b. no. of international visitors represent at least 5% of total no. of visitors
2) A show with at least a net space of 1,000 m2.
3) Has been organized in Thailand for 2nd time or onwards
An existing show is qualified for a subsidy if it meet all of the criteria above.
An existing show will be entitled to a financial subsidy of 200,000 Thai baht when the show is able to achieve an improvement (compared to prior edition) in one of the following areas:
a) Increase in the number of international visitors
b) Increase in the number of visitors’ nationalities
c) Increase in the number of international exhibitors
d) Increase in the number of exhibitors’ nationalities
e) A 10% increased in the gross space
In addition, a 3,000 baht/person incentive will be granted to every unique international visitor or exhibitor increment from the previous edition.
As an official supporter, TCEB requires the organizer is required to provide visibility of the organization in advertising and PR materials as stated below:
• Promotional and Event material such as brochure, direct mail, website, etc.
• On-site visibility of TCEB logo
• Invitation of Speaker in local press conference and opening ceremony where appropriate
• Invitation of VIP guests in appropriate social functions
• Exchange link in show website and to TCEB website at www.tceb.or.th
