Message on Bombing Situation in Bangkok

Bangkok: 16 February 2012 - Regarding the three explosions in Bangkok yesterday, TCEB would like to assure all parties that the police are taking all necessary measures to ensure public safety. Investigations by the Thai authorities as of 15^th February 2012 have found the incident to be an isolated case aimed at unidentified personal targets, and have so far not found any links to terrorism. The blasts occurred in Sukhumvit Soi 71, which is not in the vicinity of any convention and exhibition facilities or any other major tourist destinations.
